Nice
I like Astoria's writing quite compelling for storytelling RP, like how it depicts characters, showing who they are and how they interact. The conversations feel authentic, matching the mood of each scene. Descriptions are just right - enough to paint a picture without going overboard. One area for improvement is finding fresh ways to show character emotions and reactions. There's a tendency for many 70B models to rely on common phrases like "eyes widening", "clenched fists", "a glint in their eyes" and so on when describing character reactions. While it's not a major issue, it would be great to see these language models write around the need to state constantly their facial expressions. Overall, though, it's one of the most natural-sounding model I've come across.
