Is this an upgrade over v1.0?
@nsfwthrowitaway69 I know that you found v1.0 more willing to do nsfw/nsfl, but aside from that would you say that this model is a straight upgrade for roleplaying in terms of writing, logic, and situational awareness? Or is it more of a sidegrade that gives roleplays a different flavor from v1.0?
It's hard to say. This model felt better at following instructions than 1.0 did, so if you're concerned about that it's an upgrade. I personally still prefer 1.0 but I've seen people on reddit say they prefer 1.1, so it entirely depends on what's important to you.
Yeah, I did see people gushing about this model on Reddit. Tested it out 1.1 a bit and I'm liking it a lot, but it's always cool to know which model the creators themselves prefer. Thanks for the answer!
I'd say try them both and see which one you like!
I can't try 1.0 or 1.2 yet since they don't have GGUF quants yet, but I'd love to if ever they become available!
I think we can ask @TheBloke , maybe he'll do quants for 1.0 and 1.2 :)
