Storymodelers

Storymodelers comprise a research group at the Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center of Old Dominion University. Located in Virginia, USA, we bring together multidisciplinary researchers to engage in truly transdisciplinary work.

• As storymodelers, we work to make simulations accessible to all, we develop methodologies and tools to allow simulations to grow research in fields such as social science and humanities, and we conduct research using simulations that address major global challenges facing people today.
• Currently our main projects focus on simulation interface design and using computational models to understand how massive forced displacement affects the social stability of receiving communities around the world.
