Yeesh
This was a stupid comment, It was annoying to download as someone with no experience but that's not the audience this was meant for :/
It's trivial to find the link directly to the model. If you found your way here to complain about it, you're more than capable of finding the link.
The research team has done a colossal job, years of work. share it with you for free. and you donβt have enough brains to understand how to download weights and run them, and also have the audacity to blame them? they don't owe you anything, especially listening to such negativity
I see large binary files that are probably weights, but the documentation specifically calls for a file named 'sd-v1-4.cpkt', and I can't seem to find that anywhere.
It's in stable-diffusion-v-1-4-original. From this very page you are within like 2 clicks away from downloading the file.
Now that i've found it, here's a link for future people: https://huggingface.co/CompVis/stable-diffusion-v-1-4-original/tree/main
FWIW, I think there's a tongue-in-cheek quality to the OP's message, so take it easy erbody
ROFL, the community here is terrible. Whyrusleeping gave the correct link before I could
On the diffused version you don't find a link because you have to do everything through bash, so at some point it downloads it by itself.
The link to directly download the weight is not after the first paragraph of the model cards in the original repos (e.g. at https://huggingface.co/CompVis/stable-diffusion-v-1-4-original). Thanks @multimodalart for it!
Thank you for all your contributions and feedbacks.
We have made it clear on the top of the model cards which weights are intended to be used with the diffusers
library and which weights are the original ones that can be used with the CompVis codebase. For the original weights, we additionally added the download links on top of the model card. Hope you have fun with diffusers
and Stable Diffusion!
so apparently this version is only usable with Python diffusers library. If you want to download checkpoints for a colab like deforum you need to go to stable diffusion original https://huggingface.co/CompVis/stable-diffusion-v-1-4-original
i can't download stable-diffusion
I too, believe the availability of a big shiny "Download" button is a human right.
It sure would be nice if i could type.. sudo apt install -y stablediffusion... I'm not that bright, but it seems like making packages and adding them to repositories is a doable thing, I just wonder why nobody's doing it with SD
