Genuinely impressive!
Some time ago, I created two intricate character cards and set them up to roleplay with each other. Ever since, I've been using them for model testing, and let me tell you, this model handled the entire story nearly flawlessly! Over the full extent of the 8k context, I only had to step in for a correction once, and its spatial awareness was truly remarkable!
The characters had this classic nerd and jock friendship vibe, resulting in one of the most enjoyable model-led conversations I've witnessed. They supported each other seamlessly, maintaining distinct speech patterns up until the very end. Although the characters did get a bit vulgar as the roleplay progressed, it actually fit the storyline, so I'm not holding that against it.
This model has certainly taken the impressive prose capabilities of Gemma 2 27b and amplified them to new heights.
And oh, those spicy interactions were just fantastic! The dynamic of the "virgin guy pretending to be experienced" coupled with the "inexperienced but a freak in the sheets" theme was just through the roof.
In any case, I hope you keep up this excellent work, as there's a lot of promise here! I do wish the context could go beyond 8k, but hey – we can’t have it all, right?
