Tried two samples of Emma Thompson in an interview, one 3 seconds long, the other 10 seconds. Both sounded different, but both had an american accent.
The cloned voice has a different accent than the original speaker, and while it can still be considered a form of voice cloning, it would be more accurately described as a voice imitation or voice mimicry rather than voice cloning?
To add to this, It also seems to drop the pitch for a lot of speakers.
You can now fine tune using XTTS (TTS v0.19.0 )
