sentence-IT5-base

This is a sentence-transformers model: It maps sentences & paragraphs to a 512 dimensional dense vector space and can be used for tasks like clustering or semantic search. It is a T5 (IT5) base model. It is trained on a dataset made from question/context pairs (squad-it), tags/news-article pairs, headline/text pairs (change-it) and on stsb.

Usage (Sentence-Transformers)

Using this model becomes easy when you have sentence-transformers installed:

pip install -U sentence-transformers

Then you can use the model like this:

sentences = ["Questo è un esempio di frase", "Questo è un ulteriore esempio"]

model = SentenceTransformer('efederici/sentence-IT5-base')
embeddings = model.encode(sentences)
print(embeddings)

Usage (HuggingFace Transformers)

Without sentence-transformers, you can use the model like this: First, you pass your input through the transformer model, then you have to apply the right pooling-operation on-top of the contextualized word embeddings.
