I don’t think I’ve ever made a comment on any model previously, but I have to say I am rather impressed with this one. I’ve been following the Lyra series for a while, and knew it always had a little going on for it that the other Nemo models just didn’t have… This fine tune takes it to the top. I played around with the quantized GGUF iMatrix q4 variant last night for about 4 hours, and I’m thoroughly impressed. I didn’t have to reroll nearly as much with other similar 12B models, it’s clever, follows my instructions well, and the prose is solid. Only a few errors here and there, but it picks up quickly what I’m putting down.
IMHO, probably the best model in the 8-13B range for role playing, and comparable to much larger modes I’ve used.
