Looks like an actual number of inference steps that will be made is
inference steps setting*strength setting
For example, if I set "inference steps" to 10, and "strength" to 0.8, counter will show only 8.
Also, for some reason using 5 steps shows error. I exceeded my GPU quota while desperately pressing "submit" button thinking that the problem is in hf servers and everything will fix itself...
Please fix this very annoying bug, my autism described in this reddit post won't let me sleep. I simply can't look at image i just generated because it was generated not in 10 mathematically perfect steps as I wanted, but in 8...
Simple math: 8 bad imperfect uncomfortable nervous anxious af steps at some point are 5 just perfect steps... Moment later, there is a 6th step... 7th step... And 8th step. 8 – 5 = 3. This is a bad number and reason of further imperfectness. Ngl, in some rare indescribable cases it can be a good number, but not here. This slightly bad number turns good number into a much worse number.
But i waned to see image generated in 10 mathematically perfect cool fresh clean glossy shiny round even amount of steps!
P.s.: this autism does not affect decimal numbers. Perfect 0.8 is perfect 1 substracted by mathematically perfect 0.2. Mathematically perfect 10 divided by perfect 5 is mathematically perfect 2. Mathematically perfect 2 divided by mathematically perfect 10 is mathematically perfect 0.2!
P.p.s.: there are so much perfect numbers they instantly undid my anxiety
