Real-Time Personalized Anime Content Generation System: Compute Requirements
Project Overview
We Students of BITS Pilani University are developing an innovative system for real-time generation of personalized anime content. This project aims to create short-form anime episodes or scenes based on user preferences, leveraging various AI models for story generation, visual creation, voice synthesis, and music composition.
Compute Requirements
Our project's success hinges on access to significant computational resources. we breakdown of our minimum requirements as following:
GPU Resources
- 2-4 NVIDIA A100 GPUs
- Each GPU should have 80GB VRAM
- Total VRAM requirement: 160-320GB
CPU Resources
- 5 high-performance AMD CPUs
- Each CPU should have 40-60 cores
Memory and Storage
- Substantial RAM to support multiple AI models running simultaneously
- High-speed SSD storage for rapid data access and content caching
- Additional storage for model weights, datasets, and generated content
Why we need Compute Resources
Multiple AI Models: Our system integrates several specialized AI models, each requiring significant computational power:
- Large Language Models (LLMs) for script generation
- Text-to-image models for character and scene creation
- Video generation models for animation
- Speech synthesis models for voice acting
- Music generation models for soundtrack creation

Real-Time Processing: To achieve near real-time content generation, we need powerful GPUs to run inference on these models quickly.
Parallel Processing: Multiple GPUs allow us to run different models concurrently, reducing overall generation time.
High VRAM Requirement: Many state-of-the-art AI models require substantial VRAM, especially when generating high-quality visual content.
5.CPU-Intensive Tasks: Powerful CPUs are needed for tasks like video encoding, data preprocessing, and managing the overall pipeline.
Scalability and Future Needs
While the specified resources represent our minimum requirements, the project's compute needs may scale up as we:
- Extend to longer-form content generation
- Improve output quality and resolution
- Reduce generation and streaming latency
- Handle multiple user requests simultaneously
