UNIT II: Lattices & Boolean Algebra

  • Some special lattices: Complement, Distributive, Modular

Boolean Algebra:

  • Axiomatic definitions of Boolean algebra as algebraic structures with two operations
  • Switching Circuits

UNIT III: Groups, Fields, & Rings

  • Subgroups, co-sets, normal subgroups, free subgroups
  • Grammars, language

Fields & Rings:
